AVIA is an AI-powered speech-to-speech translation platform designed for African languages, launching with AVIA Agri, an agriculture-focused solution. A farmer speaks a question in their local language, the platform transcribes the speech, understands the intent, retrieves verified agricultural knowledge, and delivers a spoken response in the same language.
Rather than relying on generic machine translation, AVIA grounds every response using a domain-specific agricultural knowledge base developed with language experts, agronomists, and community contributors. This ensures that technical agricultural terms, regional expressions, and local dialect variations are translated accurately and consistently.
